Founder & MD

Fiona Coleman

With personal experiences that have built up over 30 years, Fiona has gained firsthand knowledge of what does and does not work when it comes to establishing credibility and influencing others.

Fiona’s corporate background is in sales and marketing. She started her career as a field sales representative for office equipment and developed through a number of roles in sales, account management, sales management, product marketing and marketing communications for four small-medium sized organisations.

Parallel to this career, Fiona trained as a personal development coach and facilitator in 1994 and over the years she has developed and delivered many public, in-house and corporate coaching and training programmes.

In 2007, Fiona made the decision to step out on her own and set up Create-i.

Today, Fiona’s focus is working with organisations and individuals: helping them to be the best that they can be. Her passion lies in gaining a deep understanding of client end goals and objectives and from this insight delivering impactful solutions. These predominantly manifest in leadership programmes, facilitating strategic thinking and change management programmes and providing results focused senior manager and executive board level coaching.

Associates

Nina Bainbridge

At the heart of Nina’s work is enabling leaders to do their best thinking using a coaching mindset and skill-set to unlock new insight.

Nina is a transformational coach who works one-to-one with Executive Clients; with Leadership Teams on specific business issues and their journey managing change; and with organisations to learn how to create a systemic enabling and inclusive culture for themselves.

She brings valuable skills to Create-i client projects. With a background in marketing, she aligns the commercial potential of the business with the development required to enable leaders.

Nina designs and delivers experiential development programmes focussed on ‘business exam questions that need solving’ to enhance the learning experience on real issues that leaders face. These can include increasing local and global collaboration, increasing sales and reducing cost to serve. Her programmes are designed to ensure leaders begin to tackle the challenges in the business and learn new inclusive ways of working at the same time.

Other recent projects include consulting, designing and delivering a global programme to embed a systemic coaching culture at Rolls-Royce; facilitating a transformational experience for Microsoft Managers to develop personal purpose and align it to the collective mission; and delivering an experiential programme for HSBC bank enabling leaders to create engaging conversations that lead to action.

Passionate about young people accessing personal development, she also coaches and facilitates for an award-winning social enterprise delivering leadership and coaching programmes to Young People in some of London’s most challenging Prisons and Youth Offending Institutes.

Her clients describe her as warm, empathic, creative and quietly challenging.

Nicki Kavanagh

Nicki has always been driven by growth: both that of others and her own.

After qualifying in Business & Marketing, she specialised in change management and marketing communications (agency side) for accounts such as BOC gases, Vodafone and Zurich, within a large publishing organisation.

In 2002, she created the Juniper Company, where her key focus has been to develop and grow organisations, teams, individuals and her own employees. A Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, Nicki is highly skilled in  identifying her clients’ challenges and equipping them to solve their own issues. She achieves this through the design and facilitation of bespoke learning (particularly leadership development) and change programmes, coaching (from Manager to C-suite level), strategy planning, and strategic marketing communications.

In terms of personal interests, Nicki is passionate about all things horse-related, and has been involved in equestrian from a young age. Most recently, she served as a non-executive Board Director of the British Equestrian Federation. She was also proud to lead the marketing function through two Olympic campaigns – London 2012 and Rio 2016, by developing and establishing the Team GBR brand for equestrian sport.

Nicki and Fiona have collaborated on a range of change management, coaching, learning programmes and strategic reviews for over 25 years. Key to their successful partnership is a shared desire for delivering excellence whilst growing organisations, teams and individuals, improving their shared understanding, helping them to reach their potential and ultimately enhancing performance.

Amber Allan

Amber has an in-depth knowledge of training and business which comes from having spent 30 years working in people development,

including with talented, high-performing individuals; global, multi-site companies and one of the world’s largest law firms.

In this time she concluded that people frequently can’t see their own capabilities and potential. Identifying, nurturing and developing that potential and, most importantly, getting people to believe in themselves is what she does best.

For the past decade Amber has run her own business, Inner Chameleon, which focuses on helping people to develop self-confidence and personal understanding and to project that in a work environment.  Through one-to-one coaching and bespoke training programmes, she enables people to communicate with clarity, in a way which showcases all their many talents and abilities.

Amber specialises in how to have successful “difficult” conversations, interview and meeting skills, developing a strong personal brand and women’s leadership development.

She is particularly passionate about enabling young people to communicate confidently in an age where technology and social media are constantly sapping their self-belief and making verbal communication skills more difficult.  She frequently delivers workshops to school sixth forms with this aim.

Amber has been delighted to work with Fiona and Create-i for over half a decade on developing and delivering the Create-i Women’s Leadership Development Programme.
